The Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin, Professor, Faraday Orumwense, disclosed there are no plans by the management of the institution to increase tuition as other institutions in the state.
Briefing Journalists in Benin on activities to herald the 41st convocation and 45th founder’s day ceremony of the institution, Prof. Orumwense said the event which is the first of his administration will witness the formal installation of the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi 11 as the 9thChancellor of the university.
According to him, there was an increase in the NHIS N400 fee by the NUC but insisted that “there are no intentions to increase the school fees and we don’t plan to increase it anytime”.
