Prof. Solomon Ogunniyi, the Provost of the College of Health Sciences at the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile Ife, is dead.
Ogunniyi, at age 60, died in his office within the university premises on Thursday, yesterday.
Though the cause of his death could not be ascertained as at press time, he reportedly went into his office but did not come out for many hours resulting in a state of unrest by his colleagues.
He was later found dead in his chair.
