Hmmm.. For those of you praying for break, here it comes.. The date for resumption from the mid-semester break as given by the school authorities have be shifted indefinitely..

[5:19PM, 6/9/2015] Otah Emma: Hi people
- Some SUG officials had a marathon meeting with the VC yesterday on the issue of the break and the protest. They expained to him and other principal officials present the bone of countention which lead to the protest on the issue of the break and the protest.
- But before then... Ilogebe had already met with him on Tuesday last week
- The aftermath of the meeting lead to the immediate restoration of UNEC light. Some SUG officials had a marathon meeting with the VC yesterday. He was of the opinion that the school should continue with the break indefinitely so as to avoid further protests.
- They pleaded and promised him that they, union leaders will do everything within their strength to ensure that the anger of the students is dounced.
- He complained that since the end of the presidential election in the country... That the University has not received it's monthly allocation from the federation account. Pointed out two schools that had already closed down on the account of financial difficulties.
- The VC yesterday blame the light lacuna on the national difficulty facing the country and the break was to circumvent further demonstrations
- He then warned that if anything that looks like protest erupts again... He will permanently shut down the school till the federal government handles the problems facing the country
- Plzz help get these information disseminated to as many students as possible
- He also said that the immediate former administration handed over mountainous debt to his administration,He enjoined The SUG to plead with the conscience of the students to see reasons with him and make do with the situation for the time being.
