The senate of the University of Lagos held an emergency meeting on the 7th of April 2016 to consider the situation on campus based on the agitation on the campus by the student body.
This is as a resut of the poor electricity and poor water supply on campus.
In order to prevent further breakdown of law, the university's senate thought it wise to take some of the following actions.
* Suspension of all academic activities activities on campus.
* The halls are to be vacated on or before 8th of April 2016.
* Resumption is till further notice, based on when municipal issues are resolved.
