    STAND OUT THIS MONTH

MOVE YOUR FRAME OF REFERENCE INSIDE

“If your number one goal is to make sure that everyone likes and approves of you, then you risk sacrificing your uniqueness, and, therefore, your excellence.” – Unknown

Most people have what is termed an “external frame of reference;” they constantly look around to the world and to others for cues as to whether they are doing the right thing, in the right place, thinking the right thoughts, wearing the right clothes or saying the right things. Another group; the smaller group are said to have an inner locus of control. They don’t look outside to figure out whether or not they are on the right page instead they look on the inside to figure out whether everybody else is on the right page If your frame of reference is on the inside, you make the decisions on what’s right for you and your life by using the people and things around you as tools to help you achieve the visions you have for your life.  People with inner frames of reference are lot more effective, have more charisma and have better effect on the people and the situations in their lives- they have social confidence. Truth of the matter is you don’t need to have exceptional social skills in order to have social confidence. Social confidence is something that stems out from inside you; it starts from your thinking. You are wrong if you are trying to develop it from trying to become a better person The best way to go about it is to focus on getting rid of limiting beliefs and embracing the notion that you don’t need people around you to approve of you. Allow your confidence come from your outlook on others, the world and life and not from conformity; your frame of reference would automatically start moving inside.

    HAPPY NEW MONTH!!
